Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Loss of appetite, weight loss in elderly along with pain in abdomen needs to viewed seriously.
2. Carcinoma of stomach commonly, or in other parts, like pancreas requires evaluation.
3. After the CT scan, based on cancer identified, further biopsy is necessary to evaluate the type of cancer. Based on further staging and grading, appropriate treatment can be thought of.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
