Suggest Treatment For Lump In Right Nostril And Dry Scratchy Throat
Hello, I have a sort of lump, in my right nostril. It seems to possibly have a white head, or just a white top. My nose is dry, my throat is also a little dry and scratchy. I am a smoker. Often time I even exhale through my nose. But this has never occurred before. It has me a little worried. Should I see a doctor or wait for this to go away?

As per your query there is dry throat and lump in right nostril . The lump in nostril could be a nasal polyp or Folliculitis . Nasal polyp occur due to continues irritation of mucosa of nostril usually require no treatment and goes away in few days , but if it gets large and painful the it can be removed surgically , in this case consult ENT specialist . Same way folliculitis also go away in few days without any treatment . You can take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and swelling . The scratchy and dry throat is probably occurring due to smoking habit , tobacco smoking make throat dry and scartchy which further make it prone to infection , So i would suggest you to quit smoking , do warm saline gargles and drink plenty of water .
If condition doesn't get better in a week then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and rule out causes like acidic reflux.
