Suggest Treatment For Massive Ventral Hernia Triggered By Abdominal Post-surgical Wound Infection
A very serious abdominal post-surgical wound infection caused a weakening in the abdominal wall which then triggered a massive ventral hernia. The left muscle retracted and was immobilized - repair was done without mesh or permanent surtures, i was pulled tight. I am 8 months pre-op and left with lower right pain and inflammation with a fluid collection near umbilicus. As the fluid collection decreased marginally as did the muscle enzymes from 264 to 238. With that pain it travelled to the low pelvis and the inguinal area. Physio ultrasound made the pelvis and inguinal area worse big time. we have been unable to locate to a femoral or inguinal hernia. what is agitating what? also, given, the trend of fluid collection with muscle enzyme count as they seem to work in tangent --- any value in having ultrasound guided aspiration? what is going on with the path of pain - lower right to pelvis and to groin - i am not clear on the path meaning bottom-up or top-down. i am a female and weigh 130. your input would be appreciated.
