Hi there,
I have been getting mild chest pains for the last four days, yesterday I phoned NHS 24 and thay advised me to go to the hospital.
I was seen by a pleasant doctor who checked me out quite thoroughly, did an ECG to make sure it wasn't my heart, she thinks it may be esophageal spasm and prescribed me peppermint oil tabs, so far I've only had one and no change.
My chest feels like there is pressure on it, just because the ECG and other checks were ok, can I be sure there isn't an underlying problem that hasn't been picked up, my uncle has a heart condition which wasn't picked up with an ECG.
I have young children to look after and I'm experiencing other health problems such as breathlessness when doing normal activities like chores, I saw my own GP about this months ago and a series of blood tests ruled out anemia, I just want to feel normal again.
Thanks Christine.
