Suggest Treatment For Mouth Breathing Leading To Dry Mouth
I breath by mouth while asleep causing dryness in mouth and very interrupted sleep resulting in incomplete sleep every night. I am a sixty year old man. My height is 5'10" and weight is 63 Kg.I am having enlarged prostrate.I sleep for eight hours in night.I need to go for urination two/three times every night.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain as you have mouth breathing habit it is a cause for dryness in mouth due to continuous exposure of the inside of mouth to air causing drying of mucous membranes.. You should first of all try to sleep with closed mouth and for this you can follow a simple trick by sticking a vertical strip of micropore tape over the closed lips as it will enforce nasal breathing.. Sip on water whenever you get you at night.. You can also stick xylitol patches over the cheeks before sleeping as it maintains a lubricated coating over the cheeks and prevent dryness. Hope this information helps..
