Hi you have bad hacking cough and you have probably pulled a back muscle causing back pain on getting up from bed and difficulty in driving due to increased pain on putting pressure on pedals. In prolonged hacking cough , slipped disc is a very common problem which causes severe back pain.I would recommend you take a muscle relaxant along with Ibuprofen , Do Hot fomentation of back and Muscle strengthening exercises for your lower back. If there is no relief in 10 days then go for MRI Lower spine.
