Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my name is Emmy. Since Saturday, I ve been feeling a burning sensation and feeling like i have the runs but Its soft and yellowish; i don t know if I can say is kind of green. I barely can eat and I feel nausea and I eat a little. I take meds for my acid reflux but I am not sure what is wrong.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The symptoms you present could be caused by your underlying acid reflux problems or a digestive infection by bacteria or parasite.Stool color however depends on what you eat but may as well be due to a digestive infection.I will suggest you see the Doctor for a stool exam since the problem has been persisting for long.Your Doctor may also request for an H pylori test and a stool culture if need be.I will advise -You take an anti-secretory like omeprazole -Take an antacid/anti-reflux like topaal -If vomiting sets in, you take an anti-emetic like vogalene -Avoid going for long without food -Eat in small quantities and frequently -Avoid foods that aggravate your reflux symptoms -Avoid lying immediately after meal Hope my answer will help you Best regards
