Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am an 18 y/o female. Since november I began feeling nervous and anxious for no reason. I am at high right for thyroids disease (enlarge thyroid and family history, & i'm antibodies positive) but TSH, T3, T4 levels are normal. My first time I began to feel really anxious and nervous was in december and during that time I lost 14 pounds and was constantly nauseated by food. Lately i've been feeling more nervous and I lost about 4 pounds within 5 days. Making it 19 pounds in a little over a month
I went through your details. From the given description you are suffering from anxiety disorder. But that is due to your own negative, obsessive, health related thinking. You are just 18. Every people come across episodes in their life which could make them anxious. The nauseating feeling was one such incident. You should have overcome it with vengeance. Instead you started obsessing your health and anxiety was triggered. Definitely you need psychotherapy and meditation treatment. Consult a psychologist.
