Suggest Treatment For Nosocomial Infection And Elevated Amylase Levels In An Elderly Person
My grandmother 82 years had a laproscopic cholecystectomy on 7th june 2015.on 8th evening she was diagonosed with septicemia mild tropnin t positive and high blood sugar and mild myocardial infarction. and electrolyte imbalance.After 10 days of icu care she was discharged while being in icu she was badly treated by nursing staff. she had abdomen distention and pain and had fluid in abdomen and in right rib.still she was discharged Mrcp and sample test of fluid concluded of bile leak after removal of gall bladder she had 1200 ml fluid of coca cola colour and blood in abdomen. fluid was aspirated twice and doctor gave loads of antobiotics she could not even swallow sputam by then. she is taken to apollo ahmedabad on 3 july 2015..where ERCP and laproscopic surgery to drain fluid is performed.there ahe is diagonosed with nosocomunil infection and amylase 826. what will happen now
She will be given now antibiotics according to culture sensitivity and as amylase levels are increased she will be advised serum lipase and treatment of pancreatitis. CECT (abdomen) will also be required.

Hi, She will be given now antibiotics according to culture sensitivity and as amylase levels are increased she will be advised serum lipase and treatment of pancreatitis.
