Suggest Treatment For Numb Toes

Hello, I just got out of bootcamp a couple weeks ago. About the third week of bootcamp, my toes became numb. I still have movement in them, but they have remained numb. I would like to try and remedy this myself and not put my career in danger. Suggestions?

Hi,

I got that you feel numb in the toes after bootcamp. Numbness of the foot and toes may be due acute nerve compression following high intensity exercises, posture, or acute illness, etc. In short term the condition may improve over time. If the numbness persists for long term, it indicates possible underlying medical condition.

Peripheral neuropathy either due to acute injury of the back, legs, ankle may cause short term numbness in the toes due to nerve compression. Icing of the injured site, rest, massaging, heat therapy are some of the home remedy to overcome this condition. If it persists, blood workout to rule out diabetes is needed. Peripheral arterial disease can cause numbness in the foot and toes. Clinic visit is necessary on long term issue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
