Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Hands And High Cholesterol
I have suffered from alcoholism for about 8 years, recently sober. I have experienced numbness in my hands, especially when I exhale or sneeze. My eyesight has gotten considerably worse as well. I had a bad car accident 5 years ago and have TBI. I am wondering about the Vitamin B deficiency. I do take regular vitamins but have been told I was low. I also now found out I have high cholesterol.
You may also have nerve compression problems which were suspected in your prior consultations which must have aggravated.
However, at what level it varies and needs clinical evaluation, with nerve conduction studies with or without MRI.
It is very common to get such types of numbness and pain in stress and in a deep anxiety state.
However, to be on safe side, you should consult a doctor and get your cardiac status checked along with other relevant investigations for the causes as mentioned above.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
