Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Toes

Thank you. I experience numbness in all of my toes. I stepped on the new plastic-type boardwalk down the Jersey Shore and it tore most of the skin off the bottom of my feet. No history of diabetes or neuropathy in my bloodline. I am a 61 year old male who is generally in good health other than high blood pressure (controlled) and high cholesterol (controlled).

You may torn one of sensory nerves when you stepped on foreign object. I highly recommend a visit to ED for proper care and possible tetanus and IV antibiotics. Also then you may need an MRI for possible location of severed nerve so it can be repaired. if you did sever the nerve than you need to get that fixed as soon as possible before scar tissue start forming and if you want your sensation back
