Hello Dr.sandeep jadhav....Im basically frm kalyan ..but staying in singapoe now..im suffering frm ocd since 2 yrs now..i took treatment here in singapore & doctor gve me lexapro 20 mg ..i felt better but not fully..now im tired & left medication...but ocd is like too exhausting..i keep washing hands, take 2 hrs for bathing ...im literaly scared of not being clean...feel its dirty everywhere...pls help me.. its exhausting my life

It can be exhausting and overwhelming both mentally and physically.

You would likely need to restart oral medication to help control the symptoms. It the lexapro did not well for you, there are alternatives in this drug family that can be considered.

In addition to the medication, behavior therapy by a behavior specialist should also be considered. This is beneficial to many persons.
Your doctor may be able to refer you to one of these specialists.
