Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling At The Site Of Catheter Removal

Had a Word catheter implanted on 2/6 to drain a Bartholin abscess. First bartholin cyst in 1995 resolved with sitz baths for several days, only swelling no pain. The catheter came out during my bath this evening. Swelling and pain experienced five to six days after implant. No difficulties during recovery. No pain or swelling now. Next scheduled appointment with doctor 3/4. Should I follow up with prior to my scheduled appointment.
