Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling From Injuring Ankle

I banged my ankle on the edge of a wood rocking chair. It hurt for about an hour and i was fine. Today I worked out and jogged, about 15 minutes into my jog my ankle started hurting, throbbing pain up to my calve. Now ut is swollen for the first time, just in tbe ankle bone area and it hurts to walk. The swelling feels like jello, what can be wrong

Thanks for your question on HCM

An injury of ankle can cause :
Fracture
Dislocate
Infection
Tendinitis
Neurovascular compromise

You have to go at the hospital and let a doctor to make an physical examination and if he will decide a workup ,if it necessary to make a radiographic imagine or ultrasound too.
