General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The chances of fracture are very less. Although to know the severity of tissue injury I suggest you get an X-ray ankle joint done. Visit an orthopedic surgeon with the results of X-ray. After examining the joint and images, the doctor will suggest further management which might include pain killers and crepe bandage if needed. Also adequate rest is advised for quick recovery. Make sure the joint won't be put under pressure by trying to walk or run immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
