my daughter was brushing my hair with a rat tail comb when she accidentally jabbed my in the ear. It hurts for about a week was worse when burping, sneezing, hiccuping...and it was a little harder to hear out of it. Its been three weeks since the incident. and It still hurts a little when I do those things above (not as bad as it did). Should I see a physician?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ear pain which could be due to ear infection. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures. You should avoid touching or pricking it with any sharp object. You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine. Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day. Maintain proper hygiene. Take proper rest. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done for proper examination.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
