Suggest Treatment For Pain In Foot And Ankle

I have had pain in my left foot, at the ankle and the pain travels to the bottom of my foot. This is my 2nd week with this pain. I have put ice and heat on it and wrapped it in ace bandage but still painful. I only have medical for insurance. Regards, Esperanza De Anda

You have not mentioned how this pain started. I assume it was following ankle sprain. It will be better if you get x ray to make sure that there should not be any thing wrong with your bones. If there is even a small hair line fracture it can cause terrible pain so remember about this thing. If x ray is normal then you just need rest and pain killer. Soft tissue injuries also take some time in healing.
