Suggest Treatment For Pain In Foot Radiating To Ankle
I m not sure what type of Dr to see for my foot pain. I m a 37 y/o male. began to have foot pain to my left foot. Pain is located on the outside of foot around the arch area. No pain in toes or heel. The pain started out suddenly in that area. Pain now has traveled up the left side of my ankle. Hurts to walk and put weight on it. Do I go to a family DR, Podiatrist, Sports Med DR? Not sure who would be best.
Pain in arch of foot travelling to ankle ca be due to fascitis. Fascitis is inflammation of fascia present in the soles of feet. However, clinical assessment is required to diagnose the condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
