The last few days the right side of my throat, along the windpipe near the adams apple, has been experiencing a dull aching pain. I m 30 years old and a daily pot smoker. I m used to the occasional chest infection but I ve never felt a dull pain like this in my throat. My grandfather had esophagus cancer. Is this a concern for me? I ve also had a slight back pain in the top right near the shoulder blade. I ll admit that I tend to think the worst. Unfortunately, even having health insurance, I m not wanting to spend a buch of money for blood tests and/or ultrasounds and MRIs. I did have possible allergies prior to the pain starting. In fact, i thought I was getting strep throat, so i took an antibiotic for 3 days (short the usual suggested course) using some left over antibiotics i had from bronchitis. The pain started a day after smoking pot and trying to blow it through a rag with febreeze on it. Is it possible this is just a chemical induced pain?
