Suggest Treatment For Pain On The Back And Thighs

Hi, my name is Linda. Today my left leg just gave way. I can not stand on my legs without crutches. It hurts in the back of my left leg from my thigh to my calf. I cannot bend the leg much at all. When I tried to take a shower I herd something pop. What should I do and do I hep with the pain. Thanks.

Dear linda the symptoms you mentioned here are due to your sciatic nerve compression and it is known as sciatica. You must take absolute bed rest till the acute condition subsides. It is better to get a MRI examination done to rule out disc prolapse. Avoid forward bending and weight lifting.
