Hi,
Oozing and painful blisters in case of
dyshidrotic eczema are pointing towards infection in the blisters in this case. Hence, a course of antibiotic is also needed along with
steroids and anti-allergic. Particular care are as follows:
- Local steroid ointment on the eczematous area along with blisters should be used
- Put a thick moisturizer on your hands and feet, every time you shower or wash your hands
- Turn on humidifier in a dry weather to prevent your skin cracking
- If there are some known allergens, then stay away from allergens that trigger the eczema
- Do not scratch the blisters, as it may cause infection and make the blisters worse
-
Cold, wet compresses on the blisters for 15 minutes at a time several times a day may help treat itching and pain
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
