Suggest Treatment For Painful Throat Gland And Ear Ache
A week ago my right throat gland swelled up. It is now pain ful and difficult to swallow. My right ear is also quite sore as of two days ago. My balace if fine. I saw a doctor at a walk in clinic and she told me my eustachian tube was blocked. I have absolutely NO cold simptoms. I feel I might have a inner ear infection but have fever. I am frustrated trying to eat. I am a 49 year old healthy letter carrier. I do not smoke.
You may be suffering from acute pharyngitis with eustachian tube block. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. Use tablet monterleukast and levocetrizine once a day for five days.
Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use paracetamol in case of fever thrice a day.
If no improvement please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
