Hello thanks for asking from Health Care Magic

You have severe anxiety and panic attacks. The panic attacks are causing significant decline in functioning in day time and decrease in sleep in night. You remain scared for no reason. As the anxiety is very severe there is need to consult a psychiatrist for treatment. Medicines and psychological both methods of treatment are available for treatment.

For acute severe panic attacks medicines like propranolol or low dose benzodiazepines like etizolam, clonazepam etc are usually used. These medicines help to reduce the symptoms of severe anxiety. For proper treatment and to reduce frequency of panic attacks medicine like SSRIs are usually prescribed. Fluoxetine, Sertaline etc are approved for severe anxiety and panic attacks. These medicines are prescription medicines so consult a Psychiatrist for detailed prescription.

Non-medicinal treatment includes Behaviour Therapy, Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercises, Breathing Exercises etc. These methods help to reduce the frequency of attacks and also reduce intensity of attacks.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
