Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having hemoptysis (blood in sputum).
Common causes for this are lung infection (pneumonia), bronchitis, lung cancer etc.
You recently had pneumonia and you are smoker too, so we should re-evaluate your case to rule out above mentioned causes.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
3. CT thorax with Contrast.
PFT is must for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
CT thorax will diagnose if lung infection or cancer is present.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Quit smoking as soon as possible. It is not a good habit.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
