Suggest Treatment For Passing Blood And Blood Clots In Stools
Hi, my 15 year old daughter has blood passing when she opens her bowels, started 3 yrs ago, cameras done both ends, couldn't find anything and it stopped! We are now 3 yrs on, it started again a few months ago, bloody stools 3 times a month. But this week, for 6 days running she passes quite a bit of blood, at times blood clots. * stomach cramps * Fresh bright red blood * Fatigued * Dull aches on lower left side of stomach * full bloods done... All Normal We have a referral for February at the hospital.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what we're dealing with?
As you mentioned you have problem of blood in stool that may be because of hemorroid problem or peptic ulcer or ulcerative colitis or diverticular disease or other reasons.. Intestinal poly may cause blood in stool.. Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Colonoscopy examination can done for further diagnosis. Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
I hope this will help you. Get well soon.. Thank you.
