Suggest Treatment For Persistant Ache In Ankle Caused By Gout

Good morning Doctor,

My mother was in a coma 15 years back (due to hypertension) and made a complete recovery. The Doctor said at the time that her kidneys are weak. Since then she has been on medication to keep her pressure in check. Around five years back she started getting gout. Initially it would last a day. (Her feet get swollen). Recently both her feet got affected at the same time and she was bedridden for a week. After going to a Nephrologist, Amlogard and Cipril-H were taken off her medication list and Minipress XL and Cipril were continued. Also, she used to take Goutnil when she got these attacks but later on was not effective. Feburic was prescribed and now she has been prescribed Febuget after breakfast. The pain is still persisting in her heel and ankle. We have been to a Dietician and she has been following the diet plan for over five days now. Despite this the pain is still there and we do not know what could be the reason for her present condition. Her fluid intake is 1000ml. Please advise.
