Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dizziness While On Zyrtec-D

I have been fighting allergies since last fall. I currently am taking Zrytec and the nasal spray. The last few weeks I have had pains in my ears off and on. I started getting dizzy when driving a few weeks ago. I have gone to a chiropractor for adjustments as well. The dizziness is all of the time now. Is this an allergy/ear issue or could it be something out of place in my neck/back?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Recurrent episodes of dizziness and ear pain along with the history of allergies is concerning for possible middle ear infection(Otitis media).
Please be advised to follow up with your primary provider/ENT specialist to get an ENT examination done for confirmation of diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, treatment with antibiotics(like Amoxicillin) can be started.
Meanwhile, you can use saline nasal spray, steam inhalation and continue Zyrtec-D.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
