Suggest Treatment For Persistent Fever And Abdominal Pain
My son (age 24 and out of town from me) just got word to me that he had a fever of 102 and had abdominal pain. After going to the hospital and having a scan of some kind, they said that his appendix looked fine but they did an xray of his lungs and said he had pneumonia. They gave him an antibiotic and are sending him home. My question is this: he had mono when he was in high-school - twice. He had some vitamin C infusions and that helped but it seems that his immune system is still compromised. What can he do to help himself get better and more able to fight off things like pneumonia?

in both the problem there will be fever. ct scan is not requered and itcan be clinically diagnosed. for appendix immediate surgery is requered and pneumonia inj penicillin is the drug of choice. can take second opinion and take treatment accordingly.can get him admitted to bigger hospital and get proper treatment.
