General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Abul,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

You report following symptoms:
- hot flashes for over one year
- physically feeling good, no other health problem
- Echo and ECG and circulatory examination are normal
- mentally feeling bad due to hot flashes.

Now, apart circulatory problems, metabolic issues should be also considered in a male patient with hot flashes symptoms.

If I was your caring doctor would advise to run further tests to rule them out:
- thyroid function test
- diabetes test
- lipid panel
- complete blood count
- liver/kidney function test
- hormonal balance

You can discuss this further with your physician. Meanwhile, I advise to:
- have your meals regularly, do not skip them.
- avoid having high calories meals
- keep being physically active
- increase fluids intake (especially when it comes to water).

Hope this helps.
Dr.Albana
