Suggest Treatment For Persistent Low Grade Fever And Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Hi, I need very urgent help from someone. My mother is suffering from low grade fever 99- 100 deg F from last 6 months ... with loss of appetite... severe weakness... headache vision loss in both her eyes. We have gone through numerous test and everything is normal except deficiency of Vitamin B12 and 25 Hydroxy, Vitamin D3. For which she was given treatment. PLEASE HELP!
Hi, Low grade fever since long time presenting with weakness, headache and loss of vision in both eyes could be an immune reaction. It is most probably an auto immune disease. I would require if any reports are available to comment more on her condition. She can continue with Vit B12 and vit D in the mean time, which can help improve her hematological, neurological and musculoskeletal system. Loss of appetite and weakness could be due to these deficiency. If more details are given, I can help you more. Any further queries, happy to help again. Dr. Prakash HM
