Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. My name is Shelbi, I recently gave birth on April 29th. My daughter had to have the vacuum suction to help guide her out. I have 2nd degree tearing and had hemorrhoids when I pushed her out. Right before she came out the doctor said she may break my tailbone. After she came out I asked if it had broken and he told me no. My question is, I know hemorrhoids take a while to heal and are not fun when sitting but I m starting to wonder if my tailbone is bruised of maybe even broken because it s almost 2 weeks now and I still feel pain in my lower back down to my rectum and I can hardly sit or stand. The best relief I have is when I m in the bed. Could my tailbone be broken or are hemorrhoids just that bad?.
