Suggest Treatment For Persistent Vaginal Discharge After Treatment For Yeast Infection
I am 2 years post menopausal, not sexually active. I started having vaginal discharge 2 weeks ago. I did a 3 day yeast infection treatment that ended 3 days ago but I am still having itching and some discharge. wondering if this is a reason to see my Dr. or if its part of menopause.
You may try oral treatment for yeast infection. Fluconazole might be very helpful. You may also take some oral probiotics and consume a lot of yogurts. These may help the local flora grow back to normal.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
