What Causes Persistent Vaginal Discharge And Itching Despite Using Terconazole Cream?

I have been treating a yeast infection since 12/28/2015, I used terconazole for the first week and one diflucan and thought it went away because everything but slight discharge, on 1/14 I went to GYN and he said I still had the yeast infection and he prescribed me to use the terconazole cream again for 7 days, here it is 9 days later and still have discharge and now itching. I have another appointment on Monday, but I m still very uncomfortable now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello, with such presentations in my clinic , if im your treating doctor i would give a tablet candid V3 which is an intravaginal pessary which is very efective in treating , rather than tetraconazole topical cream. take tab. cetrizine to prevent itching. so kindly consult your GYn doctor regarding this and discuss with her, so that surely you will get relieved .
hope i answered your question.
