Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of phlegmy cough, fatigue and shortness of breath is due to lung infection leading to bronchitis. Strep throat . post nasal drip or viral pharyngitis can also cause such symptoms . I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles with pinch of salt water. Avoid taking hot, spicy and fried food. Avoid cold carbonated beverages and don't smoke and alcohol. Take expectorants. Steam inhalation is very effective for you. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay . Doctor may order blood test , throat swab test or virus culture test. You should get an x ray of the chest and Immunoglobulin G levels checked for further treatment. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
