It looks like my 14 year old daughter may have has a pilondial cyst that has burst. It is draining, but looks to be clear serous fluid. She does have type 1 diabetes. Do I need to take her in for this or just treat with antibiotic cream. It is the size of a pencil tip eraser.

Hello, As she has type 1 diabetes, it s difficult to treat in case of uncontrolled sugar. I would suggest doing a daily dressing and start antibiotic amoxicillin and clavulanic acid.
