Suggest Treatment For Pinched Nerve In Left Wrist And Shoulder Pain
My dad is 81 years old. presenting a stroke for 2 years, had dengue, and now has a pinched nerve in left wrist, and now pain in both shoulders. a homeopathic practiioner says his shoulder pain is chickungunya. can i give the patient zerodol P for the pain?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Before starting treatment for Chickengunya or any other viral infection, diagnosis needs to be made by serological tests. If the infection is confirmed, treatment under supervision of your primay healthcare provider can be started. Pinched off nerve in wrist can occur due to compression of nerve by surrounding soft tissues or bony enlargement. A clinical assessment of wrist along with imaging of the wrist are required to find out the probable cause of impingement. Thus, get diagnosis of Chickengunya confirmed and find out the cause of nerve impingement for further management.
