General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Over-the-counter decongestants like pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) can help reduce congestion and eliminate postnasal drip.
I also suggest using antihistamines like Claritin
However, these are more effective after you take them for several days.
I also recommend to drink a lot of liquids.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
