Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you to consult your urologist for clinical assessment since you have undergone prostatectomy recently. There is appearance of blood in urine after symptom-less period of clear urine. Blood in urine is suggestive of trauma to the urinary tract or kidney disease. Since, there is history of recent surgery, blood in urine is likely to be related to surgery.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
