Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding

Hi, I have been on my menstrual cycle for 3 months now. The first month and a half it was only spotting but the last month and a half have been very heavy with very frequent large blood clots. I need to know what to take or do to stop this because im beginning to not feel well. Thanks for your help, Stephanie

Welcome to HCM,
I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.

I would ask you few questions like
1. were you taking any medication like contraceptives or any other??
2. Is it the first time you are suffering from such condition??

For heavy vaginal bleeding and cramps you can take Tranexamic acid 500mg twice a day for 5 days along with mefenamic acid 500mg twice a day.
it will give you symptomatic relieve.
After that i will advise you to go for Pelvic Ultrasound to rule out the cause.
Then consult with your Gynaecologist.
