Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding

Respected Dr. Pls advice me for my problem I m facing last for 20 days my period r not stop and I have taken pause 500 but didn t get any relief so pls advice me what to do? Kindly advice me for my problem and remeede for me. Thank you for your cooperation

Based on the history given you seem to have abnormal menstrual bleeding which does not respond to Pause 500.

Pause (Tranexamic Acid) is commonly prescribed to prevent bleeding during heavy menstruation as it prevents the breakdown of the blood clots.

The heavy bleeding that you are having can be caused by various conditions like infections, abnormalities of the inner lining of the uterus (endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia, etc.), abnormalities of the uterus ( fibroids), hormonal imbalance, etc.

You are advised to consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and certain tests like CBC, thyroid function tests, coagulation profile, pelvic ultrasound, PAP smear/biopsy or D&C which will help in detecting the cause of bleeding.

Based on the results you may be given the treatment of the underlying cause if any.
You may also be given blood transfusion to correct the severe anemia resulting from bleeding.
