Suggest Treatment For Psychological Insecurity

my mother is 85 year old. post femur fracture surgery she is psychologically insecure, and has fixed her attention to going to toilet-continuously, day and night. talking her out of it has been futile. her phycsical health has been perfect otherwise. what can be done?

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
It could be a presentation of anxiety and attention seeking. That may cause her to go to the urine frequently.You may try propranolol 20mg in the morning or clonazepam 0.5mg at night to reduce her anxiety. Another possibility is a urinary tract infection. UTI can also lead to frequent urges to pass urine. This can be confirmed after doing a UTI screen. Antibiotics can help in such cases.
