Suggest Treatment For Pus Discharge From Umbilicus Of A Child
Hello Doctor, My query is : My baby is two months old now. His Umbilical cord fell two weeks after birth. But after that till now some pus(yellowish discharge) comes out everyday. It is not getting dried up. Pls suggest us what we could do? Is it normal or we need to worry. Waiting for your advice. Thank you.

Probably it is due to umbilical sepsis.
It may be also due to umbilical granuloma.
It may be due to persistent urachus.
Try antibiotics and local dressing.
If no improvement consult pediatrician.
