Suggest Treatment For "right Temporal Lobe With Effacement Of Lateral/3rd Ventricle"

My 70 year old father has a 3x3 mass on his right temporal lobe with effacement of the right lateral ventricle and effacement of the3rd ventricle. There is a large amount of edema, but no hemorrhage. What does this mean in regards to treatment and outcome?
