Suggest Treatment For Rapid Heart Rate In An Infant
My grandson had meconium aspiration at birth. He weighed 9.6 and was born vaginally. He was NicICU due to breathing problems for a few days. They said after he came home that he still had some transitional breathing. He was seen at Pediatrics office this past week and the Pediatrician noticed he still had a rapid heart rate and pulse ox was 97. His heart rate was around 185. She also noticed his concave breathing. Baby had chest X-ray following going home which they said was normal. Being referred now to see a Pulmonologist. I guess my question is what could cause the concave breathing?
