Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Fever Despite Taking Tylenol

I am having light fever from the last 10 days.Fever comes occasionally (3-4 days in last 10 days).No cold and cough.Lungs are clear.(tested yesterday with doctor) High Temp was 99.5 -100.5 for 1-2 hours. 2 days I took tyenol and fever got reduced.I got checked for urinary infection and they said I do not have and urinary infection.I started Amoxicillin on July 30th until Aug 3 th. I am allergic to penicillin and Dr asked me to stop it on Aug 4th.I did not get fever for 4 days.I got fever on 100 degree on Aug 5th at 100 degree for 2 hours (came down without medication) and Aug 7th (took Naproxen Sodium for 3 times).No fever today.I got lot of weakness and light weight. Diabetis (123 fasting 160 after 2 hours of food). Sleep well and taking rest at home.I am 57 years old.I am taking anti-inflammation tablets from yesterday DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE and it helped me. I got lot of weakness and light weight.

The underlying reason for fever has to be sorted out in your case to control it perfectly, as Tylenol is suppressive of fever , not curative. In my clinic, I recommend to go for complete blood counts, serum widal test for further line of action.
