Hi my name is Sheila I haven t seen a doctor for my panic attacks for 8 years have been doing ok with them, Recently I was in a bad accident were my car flipped 5 times and when it stopped we landed on the roof of the car. we walked away with cuts and bruises. It took me a few days to start driving now yesterday I saw a big 18 wheeler hit a car and heard the hit I went into a very bad panic attack shaking crying now I feel like a cant drive im worried about the car behind me I freak out when hearing any noise not sure what to do now. I don t have a doctor at this time trying to find a good doctor do you know what I can do to control it till I can see one.
Hi Sheila, Thanks for posting in HCM. We completely understand about the unusual incident that happened and the cause for your panic attacks. It happens like this to many. Don't worry. You can come out of this over a period of time. You need to be little more strong and determined. Get a counselling sessions done from a Psychiatrist or Psychologist in this regard. With medication and counselling sessions, you can gradually come out of this problem. All the best. Wishing you a better life ahead.
