Suggest Treatment For Red And Recurring Lump On The Labia

Hi I m 23 and for the last six months I ve had this recurring lump on the outside of my labia it gets red and pops like a cyst then goes away but it keeps coming back. Today the area where it keeps recurring raised slightly but felt soft to touch much like scar tissue. Fearing the lump was coming back I had a look and there s this soft flesh like nodule emerging from the center of the area. Its tender to touch and bled at the slightest touch. I have no idea what it is and its unlike anything I ve seen.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you may be suffering from Nabothian cyst. You can use hot and cold compresses, bath often with warm water to make it drain. If it is repeated often you may need to go to gynaecologist to stick it in order not to get reformed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
