Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have red swollen lips and the red goes beyond my lips between my nose and lips. The severity of the irritation varies all day long. Feels almost like dry chapped lips sometimes. Other times burn really bad. Other times very very dry and almost like they are going to slit and crack but they don t. Been going on for a few weeks. Treating with pure essential oils, organic lip balm, coconut and other oils. Nothing seems to make it go away. Did a colon cleanse thinking maybe it was coming from my gut. No change. Any ideas?

- Take anti allergics like Levocetrizine and apply cool compresses over it.
- Avoid touching and scratching it to prevent further inflammation.
In case if the condition worsen or there is no improvement in one week consult general physician once and get evaluated and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
