Suggest Treatment For Redness And Soreness On The Tip Of Foreskin

The very top of my foreskin is becoming very sore and red. There's no pain or burning, only when My boxer shorts rub against it, or if I try and wipe it clean It hurts almost like a carpet burn type of feeling. The head of my penis is fine and there isn't any pain inside the foreskin, all on the outside. Please help.

Hi,

Of course it could be a STD, but since I see here no photos nor do I have enough information about your health and life situation in general, it cannot be ruled out. You should see your GP if this doesn’t get better, or even worse.

Use a 1%-hydrocortisone cream for 5 days, wear tight underpants instead of boxer shorts and have sex with a condom only! Make sure there is no fresh cream on your penis when using a condom because fat weakens the material condoms are made of and they can tear apart during intercourse.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
